Consumer health data we collect and why

Treadly collects health and fitness information linked or reasonably linkable to you, including running workouts; distance, duration, pace, splits, cadence, steps, active energy, elevation, and training load; heart rate, heart-rate variability, and resting heart rate; sleep duration; readiness and other inferences about recovery or fitness; training goals, plans, race information, and completed-workout history; and precise GPS route information while an outdoor workout is recorded or imported.

We collect and use this information to provide the features you request: recording and importing runs, saving workout history, calculating readiness and progress, creating and adapting training plans and Run Coach guidance, displaying routes and workout details, tracking shoe mileage, creating user-directed share cards, syncing authorized integrations, troubleshooting, preventing fraud, and securing the Service.

Sources of consumer health data

We collect consumer health data from you; from your iPhone and Apple Watch sensors; from Apple Health when you grant permission; from Strava when you connect your account; from runs recorded with Treadly; and from information Treadly derives from those sources, such as readiness scores, pace zones, training load, recovery insights, and plan changes.

Consumer health data we share

We share the categories of consumer health data described above only as needed to provide a product or service you request. This includes processing by our hosting and storage providers; writing a recorded workout and route to Apple Health; sending workout and route information to Strava when you enable posting; and sending a share card to a person, app, or social platform when you choose that destination. We do not sell consumer health data.

Third parties and affiliates

The categories of third parties with which consumer health data may be shared are cloud hosting, database, authentication, and storage processors; health and fitness platform providers; connected fitness services; and recipients or social platforms you select. Specific providers are Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (application hosting), Apple (HealthKit and related device services), and Strava when you connect or enable posting. Treadly has no affiliates with which it shares consumer health data.

Your consumer health data rights

You may ask whether Treadly is collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data; access that data and a list of third parties and affiliates with which it has been shared or sold; withdraw consent to future collection or sharing; or request deletion. You may exercise these rights by deleting your account in the app or dashboard, where applicable, or by emailing privacy@treadly.run. Describe the right you want to exercise and the email associated with your account. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line and explaining why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
